Okay, here's a tutorial for people who have GIMP (a.k.a. GNU Image Manipulation Program) and want to know how to make blends.
Say you want to blend these 2 pictures in a 500x300 signature.:
1•You would first get a new file and set the size to 500x300:
2•Then copy and paste the 1st picture you want to use:
3•Move it to where you want it to stay:
4•Repeat with the 2nd picture, only don't click anything else after you know where you want it:
5•Then click the eraser and erase the part of the picture you don't want:
6•Click the move button and click on the 1st picture you pasted to have the signature all one layer.
Then use the smudger and blend the 2 pictures together so it looks like it all goes together.
7•Then you have your blend!
Soon, when I post a coloring tut, you can make your blend look like this:
